Downtown Development Authority

The DDA's mission is to halt property deterioration, increase property value, increase property tax evaluation and promote economic growth in the Central Business District. This mission holds true with both Short Range (1998-2008) and Long Range (2000-2020) projects.

Our four-points approach to achieve goals reflects:
• Design
• Organization
• Promotion
• Economic Restructuring

In addition, the DDA concerns itself with the issues of loans and improvement grants, and is a registered Brownfield Authority. The DDA is currently involved in an exciting streetscape project that will eventually encompass the entire downtown area.

Please contact the DDA for a more detailed description of our  four-point approach or other related material.
